I am going to give a talk about animals. To begin with, many wild animals live in my region. In the forests and fields, people can see foxes, hares, squirrels, hedgehogs and different birds. Sometimes there are also deer, beavers and snakes near rivers and lakes. I do not think it is a good idea to keep a wild animal as a pet. Such animals need space, special food and natural conditions, so a flat or a house can be dangerous for them. Moreover, they may become aggressive or ill, and their owners may not know how to help them. People build zoos in cities and towns because they want children and adults to learn more about animals from other countries. Zoos can also protect rare species and give injured animals a safe place to live. However, my attitude to zoos depends on how animals are treated there. In conclusion, I support modern zoos with large clean areas and good care, but I am against small cages and shows that make animals suffer.
